Direction looks different in every business. Sometimes it concerns an in-house team looking for structure, sometimes an implementation that several departments work on, sometimes an external team at a distance. Our role is always the same: the link between the people who do the work and the people who decide.
Your own IT staff and developers
Do you employ your own IT staff or developers? They are often professionals who excel at their work and have less of an eye for the overview and the communication around it. We put in place the structure in which their work comes into its own. For a development team that is a professional way of working for building, testing and releasing (DevOps). For IT support, for example, a ticketing system, a knowledge base and clear agreements on who communicates about what.
An implementation across departments
When new software is introduced, we work with a project team in which the departments involved take part themselves. Together we set up the software. We hold the whole together, make sure everyone contributes and takes ownership of their own part, and liaise with suppliers and management.
An external development team
Are you having software developed by an external team, perhaps abroad? Then we are the point of contact for that team. We oversee planning and budget and make sure that what gets built is also what you meant. At a distance, and across language and cultural boundaries, that does not happen by itself.
The team remains yours
We do not take over your team's work and we do not place extra capacity with you. Your employees and your developers keep working for your business, and we guide that. You stay at the helm: we check in with you regularly and put the choices that are yours before you, along with our advice.
Project Governance & Team Leadership ties in with our other services. Has the software not been chosen yet, or does a process need improving first? Then we take that on first and the direction follows after.
